Security, Hygiene, and Fire Safety Audits
Im’enSe®️ conducts comprehensive regulatory audits, primarily covering security, hygiene, and fire prevention. Not all organizations operate under an ISO management system, and such systems are not as legally binding as statutory requirements. These audits provide a detailed mapping of the risks* present within your organization and quickly highlight the main gaps that should be addressed first to ensure regulatory compliance.
Note: A detailed risk mapping should be understood as a comprehensive overview of the risks. The process identifies areas where your organization performs well, as well as areas that require greater focus prioritized according to urgency, level of non-compliance, and significance.
Administrative Audits of Your Procedures
Like its on-site audits, Im’enSe®️ conducts a thorough review of your procedures related to security, hygiene, and fire safety, comparing them against legal requirements. The goal is, once again, to quickly identify gaps and shortcomings in your procedures and provide you with clear, actionable guidance supported by relevant legislation to update and correct them.

Risk Analysis
Workstation Risk Analysis
This service provides a comprehensive risk analysis for workstations and includes several key phases:
During on-site observation, an expert accompanies an operator to review working conditions and document tasks as well as hazardous situations encountered an essential step for identifying risks.
Next, an introductory training session prepares participants for risk analysis by familiarizing them with objectives, terminology, and methodology, ensuring a shared understanding. The risk analysis involves preparing a detailed report that includes photos of identified risks by task, along with a table summarizing tasks, their duration and frequency, as well as potential hazards and impacts on personnel or equipment. Risk evaluation is conducted through a detailed review with a second operator, using three levels of assessment: before preventive measures, with current measures in place, and after implementing suggested improvements if necessary.
During the action plan session, the management line (production managers, area and maintenance supervisors, HR, and the SIPP) reviews and validates the risk analysis and establishes an action plan, assigning responsibilities and deadlines for each suggested improvement. Quarterly follow-up meetings can be scheduled upon request to update the action plans.
Preparation of “Workstation” Sheets
According to Article X.2-3§2 of the Well-being Code, each employer must list the tasks of every workstation and assess the associated risks in collaboration with the SIPP, occupational physician, unions, and the CPPT. Based on this, preventive measures are defined and regularly updated to ensure the safety of all workstations, including those occupied by temporary staff.
The results of the risk analysis must be communicated to the temp agency and the temporary worker. Each workstation sheet details the tasks and the necessary safety measures. Many companies find these requirements complex; our service provides support to complete these tasks efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal obligations.
Work Equipment Compliance
Commissioning in Accordance with the Machinery Directive
This service applies to older equipment that is already installed and in operation. Please note that it is not always possible to achieve the level of safety required by the Machinery Directive with older installations. For this reason, regulations allow an assessment of older work equipment based on a list of 19 minimum requirements as set out in Annex IV.2-2 of the Well-being Code – Book IV – Work Equipment. This list is less stringent than the Machinery Directive but still ensures an adequate level of safety.
Our approach includes: an on-site visit, inventory of work equipment, observation of operators during use, analysis of workstations, compliance review, and the preparation of a conformity report for each piece of equipment, including a set of recommendations to address non-compliance.
Upon request, we can extend our service to include the preparation of operating instructions to be displayed near each piece of work equipment.
Commissioning in Compliance with the Machinery Directive
This service is intended for new equipment and involves performing various tests and adjustments, as well as gradually ramping up production. It represents the final opportunity to detect any remaining issues and address them. Ideally, commissioning should be carried out with the technical support of the manufacturer or supplier.
The objective is to start production safely, allowing all necessary adjustments and testing across every mode of operation. These tests may reveal anomalies or malfunctions, which should be documented in a report and submitted to the manufacturer for resolution before the official launch.
Commissioning also ensures that ergonomic principles are respected and adapted to the actual working environment. Based on initial machine usage, work procedures may be revised, and operating instructions and job sheets validated before full-scale operation.
The employer must also ensure that job sheets are properly distributed and that instruction manuals and intervention procedures are accessible to all relevant personnel.

Commissioning of Equipment According to the Machinery Directive
This service applies to new equipment and involves carrying out various tests, adjustments, and a gradual ramp-up of production. It represents the final opportunity to detect any remaining anomalies and address them. Ideally, this process should be conducted with the technical support of the manufacturer or supplier.
Its primary objective is to start production safely while performing all necessary adjustments and testing every mode of operation. These tests may reveal anomalies or malfunctions, which should be documented in a report and submitted to the manufacturer for corrective action before full operation begins.
Commissioning also ensures that ergonomic principles are respected and adapted to the actual working environment. Based on initial machine use, work procedures may be modified, and operating instructions and job descriptions validated before full deployment.
Additionally, the employer must ensure that job descriptions are properly distributed and that instruction manuals and intervention procedures are made available to all relevant personnel.

This service provides a comprehensive risk analysis for workstations and includes several key phases:
On-site observation: An expert accompanies an operator to observe working conditions and document tasks, hazardous situations, and existing preventive measures.
Introductory training: Prepares participants for risk analysis by familiarizing them with objectives, terminology, and methodology, ensuring a common understanding.
Risk analysis: Includes a detailed list of tasks (with duration and frequency), illustrated with photos, and identifies hazards and risks affecting personnel and equipment.
Risk evaluation: Using the Kinney method, this involves a detailed review with three levels of assessment: raw risk (before any measures), residual risk (with current preventive measures in place), and proposed risk (after suggested improvements, if necessary).
Validation session and action plan: The management line (production, area, and maintenance managers, HR, and Health & Safety personnel) reviews and validates the risk analysis and establishes an action plan with assigned responsibilities and deadlines for each recommended improvement.
Quarterly follow-up meetings can be arranged upon request to monitor progress and update the action plans.

Prevention Plans and Work Procedures
Prevention Plans and Standard Operating Procedures
Im’enSe®️ designs and implements, with the input of your personnel, detailed and logical work methods and procedures that minimize the risk of accidents and incidents when properly followed. We develop specific multi-barrier protocols that guide your staff in carrying out their activities safely. If, for any reason, one barrier fails or is not observed, personnel are not directly exposed to the hazard, as they remain protected by a second or third level of safeguards. This approach results in a safer working environment and strengthens the safety culture within your organization.
Additionally, Im’enSe®️ can assist in creating a simple yet comprehensive management system that complies with regulations. Once validated by the SIPP, management, and the Health & Safety Committee (CPPT), we can explain the system and train your personnel in its proper use.
Annual and Five-Year Action Plans
Following a comprehensive audit of your facilities and based on the significance of any non-compliances, we assist you in developing short- and long-term strategies through annual action plans and a five-year plan aimed at the continuous improvement of your safety.
These strategic plans are designed to systematize risk prevention efforts, align safety objectives with overall business goals and regulatory priorities, and ensure compliance with legal and normative requirements all while respecting your budget constraints.

Internal Emergency Plan (also known as I.E.P.)
Operators of Seveso sites and the authorities must be prepared for emergency situations and take measures to prevent major accidents. To this end, the operator must develop an Internal Emergency Plan (I.E.P.) to:
Contain and control incidents in order to minimize their impact and limit damage to people, the environment, and property;
Ensure that measures taken protect people and the environment from the consequences of a major accident;
Communicate necessary information to emergency services and authorities;
Plan for environmental restoration following an accident.
An Internal Emergency Plan can only achieve its objective of limiting damage if the emergency scenarios it addresses have been properly anticipated. Identification and documentation of emergency scenarios, along with the determination of intervention strategies for each representative scenario, should be integrated into the safety management system.
For new sites, the I.E.P. must be prepared and submitted to the authorities at least three months before the site becomes operational. For sites transitioning to Seveso status, the I.E.P. must be ready within the year following the modification of the facilities. Finally, the I.E.P. must be tested, reviewed, and updated at least every three years.
Im’enSe®️ can assist you in drafting or updating your Internal Emergency Plan.
Evacuation Plans
In the event of a fire, toxic smoke can spread rapidly throughout your facility. Your staff, contractors, and visitors must quickly find a safe refuge or assembly point. Well-designed evacuation plans can literally save lives.
To develop these plans, we start by mapping your site, buildings, and facilities—floor by floor—if no up-to-date plans exist. When available, we review your existing plans in .DWG format to ensure they comply with current regulations regarding compartmentalization, firefighting equipment, and a sufficient number of evacuation routes.
We handle submission of the plans to the Regional Fire Service for approval and can also manage printing in your desired format upon request.
Internal Emergency Plan Training
We offer training for your personnel on your Internal Emergency Plan to prepare them to respond quickly and effectively in the event of incidents, accidents, or fires. The training ensures that staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to manage anticipated scenarios calmly and without panic, while minimizing impacts and maintaining workplace safety.
This training covers the presentation of emergency procedures (scenario sheets to follow during emergency situations) and practical exercises, including coordination with fire and rescue services.
